Technology Evolves Quickly.

Driverless cars, instant delivery drones and artificial intelligence.   Will they affect the Real Estate and Mortgage industry?

Our technology focused world is requiring us to learn, adapt and advance in order to grow our business. But this isn’t new – it was the same thing with pagers, faxes and the early interwebs.

In the Real Estate and Mortgage industry, we always look to leverage the latest technology to generate leads and increase ROI.

When new tech launches, its frequently referred to as bleeding edge, then leading edge/early adopters as it improves but as time passes technology becomes main stream as it’s adopted by the majority. Over time, price continues to drop or quality improves as barriers to entry fall and finally the laggers begrudgingly buy in and or something new takes its place.

Where you sit on the Lead / Lag spectrum probably depends on the product, tool or system – and that’s ok.  You can’t do it all – you have to pick what makes sense to you.

The first Pager was probably “Amazing” and those early fax machines with the thermo-curl-paper were “incredible” at the time to some. But at the time, early adopters leveraged these tools to improve the client experience and service to drive more business.

Today, those tools are laughably primitive when viewing with our technology lens.

Coffee, however, remains delightfully unchanged and simple.  Coffee-tech has not advanced much, and seems to actually be gravitating more to its simple pour over style roots.

Talking with a friend over a cup of coffee remains a simple, enjoyable non-hype, non-tech method of authentic communication.  It’s over coffee that people will tell you everything thats going on in their lives.

Efficiency:

So how to efficiently grab coffee with people that are likely to need your services?
