Revaluate Wins the Gold Pitcher
In a stunning observation, Revaluate CoFounders Tim Segraves and Chris Drayer were seen participating in a startup pitch event where beers are served.
Pitchers and Pitches is a growing phenomenon where startups of all sizes compete in a demo day style pitch event. There are prizes, and pitchers of beer. The event is produced by co-working / investing / education company Galvanize. It’s as if they know what startups need: Beer + Pizza + access to funding. It works. The events are packed.
Local biz-lebritys (celebrities in business) ask hard questions after the pitch, and judge the teams.
Revaluate won the December pitch contest in Boulder, qualifying the team to compete in the campus finals in March. The competition is hard core.
Last night, at the Galvanize Boulder Campus Championship, Revaluate Won.
We are pretty excited and shocked. Data and Real Estate is very hot and Revaluate’s unique home history reports seemed to really connect with the judges and the audience.
The team will be flown out to San Francisco to participate in the 2 day national championship contest.
Looking forward to meeting the other campus champs in April. There will probably be a good sized crowd of investors and startup people, pizza and beer, so you know, it should be pretty awesome.
