Real Estate Agent Rant: The Relationship LIE
If you are in Real Estate, you know it’s a relationship business.
Many consumers view this as either a BAD Relationship, or a BOLD LIE.
A facebook note on my birthday does not a relationship make. It seems “Relationship” is really just cliché.
Many, no… thousands of real estate agents, leasing agents and landlords don’t call leads, text, follow up, or acknowledge our existence as humans.
People are literally screaming “Help Me Move” into an echoless dark void. (Echoless Dark Void describes my first apartment BTW)
This hurts people’s trust in the many awesome professionals that are amazing at relationships.
This is a tangible problem. As an example, the largest supplier of internet leads is Zillow, yet they say 50% of their leads go with out responses. As a consumer, when no one responds to my inquiry, I’m more than a bit upset, further damaging trust.
Why do so many people in this industry drop the ball? Is it personal? Is it churn of agents? Poor lead quality? The complexity of lead / CRM systems? Consumers don’t care why – they want good service. They deserve good service.
Our users (people searching for better livability) are our clients. We take our relationship with them very seriously – Yes, that does sound cheesy, but we show it with action and results. Our users see that we have their collective backs. That’s the whole point of Revaluate, actually. We empower people with information. I want people to have a better experience searching, connecting with professionals, finding and moving into a livable place.
The results since beta launch are staggering. NAR (National Association of Realtors) included Revaluate in a WhitePaper on Big Data, The NYPost, Wall Street Journal and USNews all plugged our killer data. It’s unlike anything before. Consumers came, registered and asked us to connect them with trusted professionals.
So – We need your help. We need to help people connect with quality real estate professionals.
We have a plan to fix the problem and phase one launches today.
Rest assured consumers, we got your back. Please share this with your awesome agent or building manager, or tell us who you love in the industry and why.
Real estate professionals – if you are a top tier agent and amazing at helping people, lets talk.
