Revaluate in the News
You have the technology, so do you still need people or cars?
Business Advice from CarolRoth – CoFounder Max Galka was quoted in an article on StartUp business Advice. Don’t build what everyone else wants. “If you try to build it all, what you get is an overly-complex product that doesn’t help anybody.” Use your own good judgment with the input of people.
Who remembers “The Homer”?
Max Galka was asked to contribute to Inman and his first post drew some serious attention. “When it comes to functions that help people make difficult and important decisions, more information only increases the need for expert help. If that’s true for travel agents, you better believe it’s true for real estate agents.
We learned that if you compare Real Estate agents to Travel Agents, folks will respond. His first article got 570 FB likes alone. Well done, Author Galka, well done.
Tim Wood, Editor for Travel Pulse, used the above Inman Article to support the personal touch vs tech discussion. Max was quoted “The agents that have gone all-in on customer service and personal touch, knowing it’s their biggest weapon against faceless tech, they’re winning big-time.” HEY Tim – we swear, we do have faces! And while we don’t think this is a face off – successful agents (in Real Estate or Travel) – need to use technology as a tool, not the whole tool box.
Seriously – Be human, folks.
Revaluate CoFounder Tim Segraves was quoted on Monster looking at small business environments. “If we all spent an hour of day commuting, that would be almost 20 hours a week that would go to commuting instead of building out our product and business.” We don’t drive much. Between the 3 CoFounders, we have 1 car – and it’s only required 1 oil change this year. Its a nice car with cool technology…but clearly, we don’t use it. Video conferencing we use every day. It’s faster and costs less than gasoline….Just like Revaluate.
