Recently, our CEO, Chris Drayer was invited on 5 Minute Success with Karen Briscoe.
On the podcast, Chris shares with Karen how he started in the real estate world, how Revaluate came to be, how it works and why realtors are finding it an indispensable tool.

Chris started in the real estate tech space in the business of virtual tours and then dove deeper into the data side, rating and ranking realtors and real estate. Revaluate came about as an extension of his and his co founder’s interest in data. The software uses data to determine who is most likely to move from within an agent, a team, a broker or a brand’s real estate database.

Typically, agents look at a lead very linearly. They get the lead, they work that lead until 2 things happen; either it dies or they close the sale. From a data standpoint, we look at leads like a customer lifecycle; there’s a time when they’re going to buy, a time when they’re going to move and a time when they are not. At Revaluate we help you identify where in the lifecycle a lead is.

The main identifiers are typically called the 3Ds, and we’ve expanded on them. We look at the following identifiers: Death, Disease, Divorce, Diapers, Diamonds, Diplomas, Dumpsters, Downsizing and the Daily Grind.

Many agents are already monitoring social media looking for life events and there’s a good reason for that. Based on NAR data, we know that as an agent, you are 88% more likely to land the transaction if you’re the 1st or 2nd person in the door to talk to somebody about a potential move. Revaluate can flag these life-changing events before that social media post, and before they are working with another agent.

As Gary Keller said earlier this year; 80% of commissions nationwide come from people who are already in your network and in your database, as opposed to 10% that came from online leads. We are the tool that can help you identify who in your sphere of influence you ought to be getting in touch with. If you’ve got 10,000 or 20,000 people in your database, or even 2,000, there is no way you are grabbing coffee with all of them – Revaluate tells you who you should call for coffee.
